ટાટા ટેકનોલોજીઝે 19 ઑગસ્ટ 2025 ના રોજ WATTSync નામનું નવું ડિજિટલ બેટરી પાસપોર્ટ પ્લેટફોર્મ લોન્ચ કર્યું.

WATTSync શું છે?

  • ટાટા ટેકનોલોજીઝે 19 ઑગસ્ટ 2025 ના રોજ WATTSync નામનું નવું ડિજિટલ બેટરી પાસપોર્ટ પ્લેટફોર્મ લોન્ચ કર્યું.
  • તેનો હેતુ છે બેટરીના આખા જીવનચક્ર (ખાણમાંથી કાચામાલ → મેન્યુફેક્ચરિંગ → વપરાશ → રિસાયકલિંગ) સુધી તમામ માહીતી તમને આપશે  ટ્રેસેબિલિટી, કોમ્પ્લાયન્સ અને સસ્ટેનેબિલિટી સુનિશ્ચિત કરવો.

મુખ્ય ફીચર્સ

  • એક જ “ડિજિટલ સિંગલ ટ્રુથ” પ્લેટફોર્મ → બેટરી મટિરિયલ, પરફોર્મન્સ, કાર્બન ફૂટપ્રિન્ટ, અને રિકવરી સ્ટેટસ વિશે રિયલ-ટાઇમ માહિતી આપે છે.

  • યુરોપિયન યુનિયન નિયમ: ફેબ્રુઆરી 2027 પછી EU માં વેચાતી દરેક EV અને ઈન્ડસ્ટ્રીયલ બેટરી માટે ડિજિટલ બેટરી પાસપોર્ટ ફરજિયાત રહેશે.
  • ભારત: નજીકના સમયમાં આવો જ નિયમ ભારત સરકાર લાવશે તેવી શક્યતા છે.

    • બેટરી રિસાયકલિંગ અને સર્ક્યુલર ઇકોનોમીને ગતિ આપે છે.
    • સપ્લાય ચેઇનમાં પારદર્શિતા.

WATTSync નો ઉપયોગ કઈ રીતે થઈ શકે?

1. બેટરી મેન્યુફેક્ચરિંગ કંપનીઓ માટે

  • કાચા માલ (લિથિયમ, નિકલ, કોબોલ્ટ વગેરે) ક્યાંથી આવ્યું એની માહિતી રાખી શકાય.
  • પ્રોડક્શન પ્રોસેસ અને ક્વોલિટી કન્ટ્રોલ ડેટા ડિજિટલ રૂપે જળવાઈ રહે.
  • નિયમો (EU, ભારત EPR વગેરે) મુજબ કોમ્પ્લાયન્સ રિપોર્ટ સરળતાથી બને.

2. વાહન બનાવતી કંપનીઓ (EV Manufacturers) માટે

  • કાર અથવા બાઈકમાં લગાડેલી દરેક બેટરીનો યુનિક ડિજિટલ પાસપોર્ટ હશે.
  • કસ્ટમર કે ડીલર એપ/QR મારફતે બેટરીનો હિસ્ટ્રી જોઈ શકે.
  • બેટરી વોરંટી, પરફોર્મન્સ અને હેલ્થ મોનીટરિંગ સરળ બની જાય.

3. સરકાર અને રેગ્યુલેટર્સ માટે

  • બેટરીમાં વપરાયેલા કાચા માલનું એથિકલ સોર્સિંગ થયું છે કે નહીં તે ચેક થઈ શકે.
  • પ્રદૂષણ, કાર્બન ફૂટપ્રિન્ટ અને રિસાયકલિંગ ડેટા સરળતાથી ઑડિટ કરી શકાય.
  • નકલી કે ગેરકાયદેસર બેટરી માર્કેટમાં આવતી અટકાવી શકાય.

4. રીસાયકલર્સ અને સર્વિસ પ્રોવાઈડર્સ માટે

  • બેટરી કઈ કંપનીએ બનાવી, કેટલું લાઇફ બાકી છે, કયા મટિરિયલ રિકવર થઈ શકે – એ બધું સ્પષ્ટ દેખાશે.
  • રિસાયકલિંગ ઓપરેશન વધુ કાર્યક્ષમ બની જશે.

5. કસ્ટમર/વપરાશકર્તા માટે

  • QR કોડ કે ડિજિટલ પાસપોર્ટ સ્કેન કરીને બેટરી વિશે તમામ માહિતી મળશે (મેન્યુફેક્ચરિંગ તારીખ, લાઇફ, સેફ્ટી વગેરે).
