Why Global Protests Are Rising After Corona | Economic, Social & Political Analysis

Today, in every corner of the world — whether Asia, Europe, America, or Africa — people are taking to the streets to protest on big or small issues. Dissatisfaction with governments, economic hardships, unemployment, inflation, corruption, political injustice, social inequality, and sometimes religious or caste conflicts — all these reasons together ignite the fire of discontent among people.

The New World Order After Corona

The corona pandemic shook all of humanity together. Millions of deaths occurred, jobs were lost for millions, economies fell into crisis, and trade and business became disrupted.

When corona came somewhat under control, people hoped that the world would return to normal. But instead, new crises emerged –

  • Russia-Ukraine war,

  • China-Taiwan tension,

  • Instability in the Middle East,

  • Inflation putting pressure on economies,

  • Technological competition and the rise of AI,

  • Increase in natural disasters (climate change).

All this together gives the impression that the world may never be peaceful and stable again after corona.

The Common Man’s Situation

A common man — whether from India or America — basically needs three things:

  • Safety for himself and his family,

  • Employment and a limited income,

  • A peaceful life.

He is not concerned with war, political maneuvers, or major policies. He just wants to live happily with his family.

But when inflation rises, jobs are lost, corruption spreads, bullying increases, and life becomes difficult — the common man is forced to take to the streets.

Main Reasons Behind Protests

(1) Economic Hardship

  • Inflation continues to rise.

  • Unemployment among youth is increasing.

  • The gap between rich and poor has widened.

  • The middle class bears the most pressure.

Corruption and Political Mismanagement
People expect transparency and justice from the government, but when the system is filled with corruption, trust breaks down.

Social Inequality
Issues of caste and religion, gender discrimination, injustice to minorities — all these generate dissatisfaction.

Pressure from Global Powers
Sometimes powerful countries implement their political or economic agendas by creating instability in smaller countries.

Media and Social Media
Today, social media allows ordinary people to connect quickly. Any incident can spark anger immediately, and protests gain global support.

Is This a Conspiracy?

Some experts believe that –

  • Large global corporate companies,

  • Weapon-producing nations,

  • Financial institutions (like IMF, World Bank),

  • And powerful countries,

together keep the world unstable for their benefit.
For example, wars benefit the arms industry, economic crises allow big companies to acquire resources cheaply, and dissatisfaction among people can bring political changes.

Therefore, for some, all this is not just “natural discontent” but a planned “global game.”

The Gap Between Rich and Poor

You wrote very well — “The rich are unaffected.”
Indeed, inflation, corruption, and bullying mainly affect the common people.

A wealthy person has money, security, and influence.
But a common man has none of these.

Hence, the largest share of protests is always by the middle and lower classes.

Questions in People’s Minds

  • In which direction is the world moving?

  • Will there be another major global event (like corona)?

  • Are new tools (AI, digital currency, surveillance) being set up to control all humanity?

These questions are reasonable, but clear answers are with no one. Governments or authorities may know, but ordinary people are not given clarity.

Solutions

When the world continues toward instability, at an individual level, a person should –

  • Be a conscious citizen,

  • Avoid false information and rumors,

  • Legally raise their voice for their rights,

  • Maintain coordination with family and society,

  • And most importantly — express protests peacefully, without violence.

8. Conclusion

Today, protests are increasing worldwide because people’s patience is running out.
After corona, humanity was moving forward with new hope, but new crises have frightened it again.

It is true that a common person does not want to be involved in war or political battles. He just wants a peaceful life with his family. But when his freedom or family is threatened, he will not remain silent.

Therefore, the essence of all today’s protests is —
“People are fighting to protect their existence, rights, and the right to live.”

The information about the causes of the forest fires in Turkey in July 2025

jungle fire
jungle fire

Human Negligence and Intentional Arson:

  • Burning an old mattress: According to a key report, one of the causes of the fire was a person’s mistake while trying to burn an old mattress. This act of negligence caused the fire to quickly spread into the forest.

  • Suspicious activities: Officials have detained several suspects in connection with the fire, indicating that in some cases, the fires may have been set deliberately.

Excessive Heat and Dry Weather: During July 2025, Turkey and many parts of Europe experienced a severe heatwave. Temperatures were 6°C to 12°C higher than normal, reaching up to 50.5°C in some areas. This unusual heat and the long absence of rain made the forests extremely dry and flammable, causing the fire to spread rapidly.

  • Strong Winds: At the time of the fire, strong winds were blowing. These winds helped the fire spread further and made it difficult to control, leading to its massive size.

  • Climate Change: According to experts, climate change is causing an increase in such extreme heat and dry weather events, which poses a significant risk for forest fires.

Thus, the fires in Turkey were caused by a combination of excessive heat and human negligence, which were made more severe by strong winds and climate change

Massive Land Subsidence in Dhareli Village, Uttarakhand – Know the Real Causes Behind This Environmental Disaster

📍 Location: Dhareli Village, Chamoli District, Uttarakhand
📅 Date: 5 August 2025

In a shocking environmental event, Dhareli, a remote Himalayan village in Chamoli district, witnessed severe land subsidence early this morning. Several homes developed large cracks, and the ground has started to sink, forcing dozens of families to evacuate. Panic spread throughout the village as the threat of further collapse looms.

What’s Causing the Disaster? Let’s Understand the Real Reasons

1. Forest Fires & Deforestation (2015–2025)

  • Massive deforestation took place across Uttarakhand in the last decade.
  • Thousands of hectares of forest land were cut down for construction, tourism, and development.
  • Major forest fire events were recorded in 2016 and 2023, destroying biodiversity and loosening the soil structure.
  • With the loss of tree cover, the soil lost its natural grip, making landslides and land subsidence more frequent.
  • The increasing tourist influx led to widespread tree-cutting for hotels and restaurants near spiritual and eco-tourist sites.

2. Glacier Melting Due to Climate Change

  • Rising temperatures have caused Himalayan glaciers like Chorabari, Gangotri, and Pindari to melt rapidly.
  • Scientists warn that if this trend continues, water sources feeding key rivers may disappear.
  • Excessive glacier melt contributes to unstable ground conditions and flash floods.

3. Chamoli Glacier Burst (2021)

  • On 7 February 2021, a glacier burst near Raini village triggered a devastating flash flood in the Dhauliganga and Rishiganga rivers.
  • Over 200 people lost their lives, and a hydropower project was destroyed.
  • The event served as a grim warning of the risks posed by unchecked development in fragile ecosystems.

4. Char Dham Highway Project – Construction vs. Conservation

  • A major road expansion project began in the Char Dham region (Badrinath, Kedarnath, Yamunotri, Gangotri).
  • Though it improved connectivity, heavy blasting, tree cutting, and slope alteration increased the risk of landslides.
  • Environmentalists and the Supreme Court raised strong objections, but the project continued with limited modifications.

5. Joshimath Land Subsidence (2022–23)

  • Similar to Dhareli, the holy town of Joshimath witnessed major ground collapse, leaving hundreds of buildings cracked and unsafe.
  • Experts blamed aggressive construction, inadequate planning, and the fragile Himalayan geology.

6. Frequent Cloudbursts and Floods

  • Regions like Uttarkashi, Chamoli, and Pithoragarh now face annual cloudburst disasters.
  • Between 2020 and 2024, 5+ cloudburst incidents occurred every year, causing landslides, floods, and road destruction.

7. Plastic Ban & Clean Himalaya Drive

  • Uttarakhand implemented a plastic ban post-2018 and declared “Zero Plastic Zones” in pilgrimage areas like Kedarnath.
  • Clean Himalaya initiatives, led by volunteers and locals, attempted to preserve the region’s ecology.

8. Hydropower Projects – Boon or Threat?

  • Several hydropower projects near the origins of the Ganga and Yamuna faced local opposition.
  • Between 2019 and 2024, many such projects were halted due to ecological concerns.

9. Ecotourism – A Ray of Hope

  • To combat unsustainable tourism, ecotourism gained momentum in parks like Jim Corbett, Valley of Flowers, and Nanda Devi Biosphere.
  • Visitor limits were enforced to protect the fragile environment.

Scientific Reports Confirm the Threat

Year Environmental Change Notable Outcome
2015 Kedarnath Reconstruction Sustainable tourism model initiated
2016 Van Panchayat Model Involving locals in forest conservation
2021 Chamoli Glacier Tragedy Warning sign for hydel projects
2022 Joshimath Land Collapse Fragile geological base confirmed

Final Words:

Between 2015 and 2025, Uttarakhand has become a hotspot of environmental disasters.
Despite government rules and awareness campaigns, unchecked construction, deforestation, and climate change have pushed the region to a tipping point.

The Dhareli disaster is not just nature’s wrath, but a man-made tragedy. It’s a direct consequence of our failure to respect and protect the Himalayas.

Is this just a flood, or a sign of greater destruction?

These 5 videos show the situations caused by floods in 5 different countries. You can watch and see how each country is affected.”

If you look at today’s news, from the moment we wake up, all we see are reports of death, disasters, and tragedies. Why is this happening? What could be the reason?

Could it be that we ourselves are the reason? Could it be that our comfort, luxury, and convenience have become the very cause of our own destruction?

In today’s world, you can see that every country is simply trying to stay ahead of the others — to become more powerful, more dominant. But in this endless race, we fail to see how we are destroying nature and our own future.

Across the globe, the natural rhythm of seasons is collapsing. Extreme heat, excessive rain — nothing stays within limits anymore. Why? Because no one seems to notice the damage we’re causing to nature in the name of progress.

Pollution is increasing everywhere — in the air, water, food, agriculture, and even within our own bodies. And yet, nature — or God, if you will — continues to send us signs.

It’s no longer about politics or global debates — it’s time we take responsibility as individuals and decide what kind of life we want to leave behind for the next generation. Maybe we’ve already lived our lives, but what about the future?

Think about this for a moment… maybe even your inner voice will agree.

Perhaps in our day-to-day lives, we’ve never truly done anything for nature, because everything nature gives us comes for free. And that’s exactly why we don’t value it. But to remind us, nature shows us the consequences — in different forms.

Precautionary Steps to Stay Safe from Floods:

  • Move to higher ground upon receiving timely alerts

  • Avoid building homes in flood-prone areas

  • Keep essential medicines, torch, and important documents ready during the rainy season

  • Follow government guidelines and stay updated via radio/news

I will continue to share such important information for people. So please don’t forget to like and comment — your one comment could be a big help to someone else, and it costs you nothing.

My next topic will also be just as important, and I will definitely present it with full details.

The devastation caused on August 5 has now become even more severe, as the river’s current has grown so strong that searching for the missing people has become extremely difficult. However, the Army, SDRF, and NDMA teams are working at a rapid pace.

The official death toll has not yet been announced, but according to news sources, over 50 deaths have been confirmed in this disaster, and some reports suggest that the number could rise further.

  • Missing Nepali nationals: According to the Nepali Embassy, 26 Nepali citizens are missing — 21 from Uttarkashi (Dharali) and 5 from Pauri Garhwal (Bankura).

  • New threat: In Uttarkashi’s Harsil area, a temporary lake has formed which could cause heavy destruction if it bursts. The Army, SDRF, and NDMA are continuously monitoring and carrying out drainage operations.

  • Court action: The Uttarakhand High Court has formed a team to inspect and assess the relief facilities being provided to flood victims.

  • Financial assistance: Bank of Baroda has donated ₹1 crore to the Uttarakhand Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, especially to support victims in Dharali and Harsil.
